The WBCCI Foundation has multiple approaches when making an impact:
Global Impact Non-Profit Partners
The WBCCI Foundation allocates a percentage of the funds collected to be equally distributed between our Global Impact Non-Profit Partners. What is a Global Impact Non-Profit Partner? These are non-profits with whom we align because their mission aligns with our mission. What they do helps us with what we do. Local iMPAct Non-Profit Partners
Each year, the Airstream Club International has an International Rally at a pre-selected location. These rallies usually create a draw of 800-1000+ Airstreams. In each location, we work with local non-profits that align with our Mission and Vision. All of these local non-profits represent some aspect of protecting and preserving the places Airstream Owners enjoy. Our goal is to leave the places where we have our International Rallies better than we found them. This program can involve grant allocations and/or service programs that support these local non-profits.
Common Cents for Kids
A Wally Byam Caravan Club Legacy Program
The WBCCI Foundation manages this WBCCI Legacy Program. Each year, spare change is collected at Local, Regional and the International Rally and those funds are placed in a “restricted funds” account where they can only be used for this program. During our International Rally each year, multiple families who have a child who is either sick or has special medical needs may be chosen to receive funds, or if there is a local non-profit who serves children with special medical needs, they may also be chosen to receive funds. Tread Lightly!
Tread Lightly! is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to promote responsible recreation through stewardship programs and ethics education. Tread Lightly!’s educational message, along with its unique training and restoration initiatives are strategically designed to instill an ethic of responsibility in outdoor enthusiasts and the industries that serve them. Tread Lightly!’s award-winning materials, programs and services are solutions to some of the nation’s most pressing recreation issues.
National Forest Foundation (NFF)
The National Forest Foundation, chartered by Congress, engages Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System, and administers private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests. NFF works on behalf of the American public to inspire personal and meaningful connections to our National Forests, the centerpiece of America’s public lands. NFF has also partnered with Airstream Inc.’s Social Responsibility program for the Caravan to Carbon Neutral!
4OCEAN
While a departure from our support of non-profits, we believe that 4Ocean’s Mission to clean single use plastics from all waterways around the world ties directly into our Mission. Since 4Ocean is a Public Benefit Corporation, we will not make a donation to them, rather funds raised will be used for the WBCCI Membership to purchase clean-up kits and to create drives to support the clean up of waterways during our Local, Regional, and International Rallies. 4Ocean has removed 23,333,227 lbs. of trash from Oceans and waterways, and, thanks to 4Ocean’s One Pound Promise, has made it possible for anyone, anywhere to clean the ocean.
National Park Foundation (NPF)
The National Park Foundation strives to ensure that all people are welcome and able to discover their own personal connections to our National Parks. National Parks tell the story of America, in all its beauty and imperfection, and the NPF is committed to sharing these essential and vital stories. Our National Parks don't just stand for where America has been – they inspire where we go next.

It takes fuel to move the needle!
The WBCCI Foundation is asking Airstream Owners to donate $23 in 2023 to the WBCCI Foundation. If we can get 100% of our members to donate $23, we’ll be able to do great things towards our mission. Think for a moment of all the good we could accomplish with this measure of philanthropy. We are calling this giving program 23N23. Our logo was developed to give a nod to the spirit of “the Big Red Numbers.”
