The WBCCI Foundation has multiple approaches when making an impact:
Global Impact Non-Profit Partners
The WBCCI Foundation allocates a percentage of the funds collected to be equally distributed between our Global Impact Non-Profit Partners. What is a Global Impact Non-Profit Partner? These are non-profits with whom we align because their mission aligns with our mission. What they do helps us with what we do. This is in the spirit of working together we can all make a bigger difference! For more info on the specifics of the funding criterial, please visit our FAQ section. Local iMPAct Non-Profit Partners
Each year, the Airstream Club International has an International Rally at a pre-selected location. These rallies usually create a draw of 800-1000+ Airstreams. In each location, we work with local non-profits that align with our Mission and Vision. All of these local non-profits represent some aspect of protecting and preserving the places Airstream Owners enjoy. Our goal is to leave the places where we have our International Rallies better than we found them. This program can involve grant allocations and/or service programs that support these local non-profits.
Common Cents for Kids
A Wally Byam Caravan Club Legacy Program
The WBCCI Foundation manages this WBCCI Legacy Program. Each year, spare change is collected at Local, Regional and the International Rally and those funds are placed in a “restricted funds” account where they can only be used for this program. During our International Rally each year we raise money to support Care Camps for Kids to impact kids fighting cancer across the United States and Canada FAQ section.

Tread Lightly!
Tread Lightly! is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to promote responsible recreation through stewardship programs and ethics education. Tread Lightly!’s educational message, along with its unique training and restoration initiatives are strategically designed to instill an ethic of responsibility in outdoor enthusiasts and the industries that serve them. Tread Lightly!’s award-winning materials, programs and services are solutions to some of the nation’s most pressing recreation issues.
National Forest Foundation (NFF)
The National Forest Foundation, chartered by Congress, engages Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System, and administers private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests. NFF works on behalf of the American public to inspire personal and meaningful connections to our National Forests, the centerpiece of America’s public lands. NFF has also partnered with Airstream Inc.’s Social Responsibility program for the Caravan to Carbon Neutral!
Care Camps Foundation is on a mission to help children with cancer experience joy, belonging, and the healing power of the outdoors at no cost to their families. No matter the camp or community, our commitment is the same: to provide reliable, unrestricted funding that helps keep pediatric oncology camps safe and accessible.
Through trusted partnerships and transparent stewardship, we help ensure camps can plan with confidence and children and families can count on medically supervised camp experiences year after year. Care Camps Foundation is the WBCCI Foundation’s Common Cents for Kids Partner -

It takes fuel to move the needle!
The WBCCI Foundation is asking Airstream Owners to donate $26 in 2026 to the WBCCI Foundation. If we can get 100% of our members to donate $26, we’ll be able to do great things towards our mission. Think for a moment of all the good we could accomplish with this measure of philanthropy. We are calling this giving program 26N26. Our logo was developed to give a nod to the spirit of “the Big Red Numbers.”
OUR IMPACT
2025
WBCCI Foundation donates to York County Parks’ Teddy Fisher. The Foundation not only supported with a cash grant, but also provided 30 binoculars to support their new youth bird-watching after-school program!

FOUNDATION GIVES BACK AT RALLY
Sedalia — Airstream Owners Giving Back …and in a big way! At the 67th International Rally, donations were taken to provide support for privately-owned campgrounds impacted by Hurricane Helene. The devastation was unprecedented and the road to recovery will be a long one. The WBCCI Foundation matched those funds to $10,000. With donations still rolling in, we are going to print with a grand total (including the match) at over $30,000. A huge shout-out to all who supported!
The WBCCI Foundation presented three checks to Impact Partners and one in support of Common Cents for Kids at the 67th International Rally. Several of them hosted assemblies during which they discussed their organizations and how what they do benefits Airstream Owners. Those presenters were the Mark Twain National Forest, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways (U.S. National Park Service), and on behalf of Common Cents for Kids, the Bothwell Foundation. We love rallying together to make a difference!

WBCCI Foundation responds to Hurricane Helene Disaster
WBCCI Foundation in cooperation with Airstream Club International was able to raise $35,000 (including a $10,000 match from the Foundation) to support privately held campgrounds in the affected areas. Those campgrounds were required to apply for the grant and meet a specific criteria including that they did not carry flood insurance which affected their available funds, and that they did intend to rebuild, restore, and re-open. The campgrounds that met the criteria were:
New River Bridge Family Campground - Salisbury, North Carolina
Wilderness Cove Campground - Saluda, North Carolina
Linville Falls Campground - Linville Falls, North Carolina
Creekwood Farm RV Park - Waynesville, North Carolina
Mountain River Family Campground - Newland, North Carolina
Additionally, we provided enough funds to another local non-profit in the affected area to provide 1000 Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for displaced families, disaster relief workers, and people staying in or near the affected campgrounds while they have no other place to live during the recovery efforts.
